Product Overview

PAO6 (Polyalphaolefin 6) is a premium synthetic base oil used in advanced lubricants. Classified as Group III+ or IV (depending on the production source), it is produced via α-olefin polymerization, offering high purity, exceptional thermal stability, and consistent performance across a wide temperature range.

Color: <0.5 (ASTM D1500) – indicating very high purity

Density at 15°C: ~0.827 kg/L – lower than mineral oils

Viscosity: 40°C ~30.7 mm²/s, 100°C ~5.8 mm²/s

Viscosity Index (VI): 135 – maintains lubricating properties across temperature ranges

Pour Point: -63°C – excellent low-temperature flow

Flash Point: 245°C – high-temperature safety

Water Content: 11 ppm – ultra-pure

Noack Volatility: 6.8% – very low evaporation at high temperatures

Group III Base Oil Applications

1. High Performance Engine Oils:
   For modern gasoline and diesel engines (API SN, SP, ACEA C3), including turbocharged and fuel-efficient engines. Cost-effective alternative to PAO oils.
2. Gear Oils:
   Used in automotive and industrial gear oils with anti-wear and high thermal stability properties.
3. Specialty Industrial Lubricants:
   Hydraulic, turbine, compressor, and heat transfer fluids for high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
4. Semi- and Fully Synthetic Oils:
